


We were approached by
npower in 2006 to devise an online strategy around Urban Cricket, a new grass roots joint-venture between
npower and the ECB to raise awareness of cricket amongst children- on the back of England's Ashes victory.
Evolv conceived and launched UrbanCricket.com, an online cricket community intended to not only build awareness but also to publicise England cricketer's Kevin Pietersen's involvement in the scheme. The Website was intended to be a social network for Urban Cricket and featured blogs from Kevin Pietersen, games and messageboards and had over 45,000 unique visitors during the three-month campaign and generated media value for npower of over £2m.
npower also commissioned Evolv to build dedicated microsites to support tactical above-the-line campaigns following the work it did on Urban Cricket.
